Loutraki (Λουτράκιo) is the oldest and most famous thermal spa in Greece. It is situated on the coast, 3.5 km far away from the Corinth canal and 80 km from Athens, between the sea and steep slopes of the Gerania Mountains.
The influence of the sea, mountain and the fir forest along the coast make perfect climatic conditions. Beside it is a spa center, the Loutraki is green city as well with many exotic plant species, fountains, promenade and long pebble-sandy beaches.
Certainly don’t miss to visit one of many natural attractions- the lake Heraion which is actually part of the sea that is through the narrow channel entering the land and 70-meter high waterfall under which is very romantic walking path.

A few kilometers west of Loutraki is the Perahora and large, spacious Vuliagmeni lagoon which is ideal for every kind of water sports. Beyond the lagoon are the remains of Hera Temple, right beside one of the best preserved ancient port.
