The Triumphal Arch (rom: Arcul de Triumf) is the same arch as that one in Paris. It is situated in northern Bucharest. The Triumphal Arch was at firs built of wooden material very fast, after Romania become independent (1878), and the victorious troops could have a march through it. The second Triumphal Arch was built in the same place at 1922nd after the I World War and demolished in 1935. in order to be built a third one made of granite. It is formally opened in 1936. You can go at the top of the Arch, which is 27m high, and enjoy in a magnificent panoramic view of the Bucharest.
